My 5.1 speakers

    My speakers are now emitting a static sound that is rather loud and annoying. anyone know why

    hello,Have you checked all conections?Made sure properly grounded?
    Are the speakers plugged into motherboard directly or sound card?Check audio drivers for each.

    It always makes that noise? or only if play something? and what speakers are these?

    well it always makes this sound and its connected to my soundcard. how do i make sure its grounded.

    i fixed it. i had to install new drivers and update the programs. it fixed i think.
