http://www.afterdawn.com/glossary/terms/dvd-5.cfm http://www.afterdawn.com/glossary/terms/dvd-r.cfm "One side of the disc can hold upto 4.38 gigabytes of information (NOT 4.7GB what the disc labels claim -- 4.7GB is achieved by tweaking the numbers and using 1,000 in calculations between megabyte and gigabyte, when the correct number to be used should be 1,024)."
just what exactly are you trying to burn, and more importantly what software are you trying to burn it with? I don't think I have ever encountered a situation where you have to have a minimum amount of data to burn.
I use toast.. and it didnt let me just burn the rest. I went back and compressed movie only anyway so I fit. I wanted the extras but the movie will do. whats a good way to figure out which are the extras when selecting chapters to compresss?
maybe change the program you are using to something that will accomodate you. With me if xpress didnt work .i'd change to shrink or clone
