no matter what movie i burn it always seems to skip... well its more of a studder, when ever the screen gets dark or fades to black.
It does sound like the burner is not writing the material to the DVD properly or the burner is going South as it is not reading the DVD's properly. How old is the burner and what name brand of Blank DVD's are you using. Try slowing the burn down and use Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden Blank media for your burns
