I actually have no idea, im assuming internally, because it started smoking from the inside when i was on it.
Ok, Hi ddp so my best course of action would be to take it to someone who can tell me, what the cause of the fire was? and i can only post every 3 mins so, i guess sorry for any inconvenience, please stay with this though thanks.
had it been making a groaning sound when the computer 1st started up than went away? more than likely the psu went & if computer is more than a year old & not covered under extended warranty than is out of your pocket book.
as i would take it to a computer shop to give a est and description of the damages, then check with ye home owners insurance.. there has to be fire to collect..
No no, there was no groaning sound. I dunno the potential injury the fire could have caused. It even burnt my wall. You think its worth it to pursue this matter, Or just replace the cpu?
take pictures of the computer and wall..as ye home insurance should cover the damages if there was fire.
Im hearing from friends, that i should, consult a lawyer, but im alos hearing since i have downloaded x amount of songs from kazaa etc...thay may come into play, does anyone think its worth it? and yes im going 2 utilize home owners. thnx
pull out the hard drive to protect ye self..and put a another one in,make sure it looks two years old.
i was in the business for years, and believe me its hard to sue and collect,it can take years..and you might not win..if fire call your insurance company. cheers
