my computer wont let me put songs on my micro sd card anymore?!!

recently i just got a LG rumor and had an old micro sd card that i used for music, and i also had the adapter for the card, but just today i tried to copy music to it and it kept saying that i coulndt copy so i had to remove the write protection, how the hell do i remove write protection, cuz i cant delete or add any thing off my micro sd

That tells me that the card has reached the end.
Lots of them pretend to be write protected because the write test fails.
The os has no option but to see it as a read only or write protected device.

Try formatting it as a last resort.

 

r u sure that its like almost dead, but if i format it will it go back to normal?

 

crap, i tried to format it and all it said was that the disk was write protected, does that mean its dead?

 

try it on a different reader, if you get the same error then yes its dead LOL check to see if you have some dirt on the gold pins

 

oh thanks but found out it was just that my SD card adapter was locked
