My divx burned to dvd-r and played but stops about half way through.

    I burned a couple of divx movies onto dvd-r using the guide posted on this website, and it seemed to work fine. When i went to watch one of them, however, about an hour and a half through it stops and can't play. I dont get an error message, it simply freezes... same on PowerDVD and same on my dvd player. Any ideas on what is going on?

    ive managed to burn a few divx films to dvdr- a couple failed as well but it can be done probably depends on media your using but i dont like working with divx files
