ok so I went to burn a DVD the other day and so I put a DVD in as I normaly do but my computer says that the total space on the DVD is 0bytes so I try a different DVD, same thing so after about 20 DVDs I installed the newest drivers I could for my model(KHypermedia DVD+RW KDVRW8X)and still nothing...so I listened to my friend and reinstalled windows XP and still the same thing..

I think I have the same exact model# of khypermedia drive.

Did you change anything about your blank media like: Different format/speed rating/quantity=basically did you change batches?

Will that burner play dvds? Both original and older backups?

That should be a plus format burner only. What is the brand name and burn speed of your blank media? Maybe a firmware issue.
