I have a Sony Dru500a burner installed and was using Nero fine. I installed DVDXCopy, and now my DVD or DVD burner do not show in any program. They dont't even appear in My Computer. In Device Managerthey have
yellow ! next to each drive and they have the following message:

Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged.(Code 19)

I uninstalled both programs and they still do notappear in My computer. What should I do?

OK, please don't post in multiple forums. Leave the question here in Newbies forum.

    Paul.

PS Even better, try the DVDxCOPY forums.

Open the Device Manager and for each of the drives with a yellow ! - highlight and uninstall that device. Windows should pick up the drive when you reboot. Then reinstall the burning software of your choice. Might be worth sticking on the latest ASPI version from Adaptec.

Do a search in google for Adaptec Aspi Download
