My Pioneer DVD RW drive is unable to read and keep on prompt me the error message "disk structure is corrupted and unreadable". Is there any way that I can relsove this issues. Thanks in advance for any advises.
What's the model # of the Pioneer? What are you trying to read? Is it like an original dvd or a copy of something? Get this error with just this disc or all?
Thanks for your reply. Not sure on the model but check from the propertie it state DVR-K16RA. Get this error for all the disc, even blank disc.
Is this a new problem - had no problem before reading discs of nay kind? If it's new anything changed pc wise? What program are you using to read the dvd's with? Try uninstalling the drive in device manager - reboot then let windows do it thing and reinstall. When your in device manager make sure there are no red x's or yellow exclamations - if there are click on them and they will give you the error. Right click on 'my computer' go to properties>hardware>device manager. The drive will be listed under dvd/cd-rom drives. Right click on the drive and pick uninstall. Reboot.
Ok - how about the rest of the questions above: Is this a new problem - had no problem before reading discs of any kind? If it's new anything changed pc wise? What program are you using to read the dvd's with? More info is better to help try and solve this.
