OKAY, so it's winter break my friend goes on vacation to Pakistan with her family, winter break ends and she's not at school. I asked her sister where she is and it turns out that both of her older sisters got married while on vacation! Isn't that crazy?! I can understand the older, 23 year old getting married but come on, the one I knew best, she's a high school senior and now she's married! She's gonna move to Pennsylvania I think, that's where her husband lives. This is crazy, of course she's going to continue her education, but getting married so soon?
Wow - there should be a law, women must be 25 (and men 30) before they get married, LoL :^) Dunno what to say... Well I can tell you, south-asian women are generally delightful and can be very attractive. What can I say - blonds just don't do anything for me... L8R
Too young! What's the big rush? It's not like you're waiting for marriage before you can make love, or what? My own Mum was 37 when she had me, and that was (ahem) years ago before it became fashionable... (meaning it's somewhat less unusual these days). Kinza m'dear, you are Senior in membership only ;^) 21!? (tryin' to remember 1978...) LoL Regards
lol. haha, thats a norm for pacific-islanders, plus im muslim so i have to wait till marriage for...ahem.
I guess you could call them arranged, I know they definately both saw and talked to their prospective husbands. You can say they went on vacation and found some good guys and married.
youg girls getting mariied doesnt surprise me.ive met girls that are having kids when there 14 and i met one girl lost her virginity when she was 8.kids are growing up fast everyday.i wouldnt be surprised if they make the legal age to get married 16. @the_OGS i dont have anything against blondes there good when your drunk and want a one night stand.my mum was 21 when she had her first kid.she was 33 when she had me
the youngest parents ever where 8 and 9 and lived in china in like the 18th or 19th centuary. you can get married at 16 in the UK. my mom was 21 when she had me. and where did kinza go, haven't seen her posting in months. !!thecraigc!!
and in responce to kinzas sig [bold]this[/bold] is the most magical place on earth, screw yankees inside there is the 2 biggest tv screens in europe !!thecraigc!! P.S. i don't mean to offend any1 by screw yankees, just she said screw disney.
WHY ME LORD? A man was wandering around in a field, thinking about how good his wife had been to him and how fortunate he was to have her. He asked God, "Why did you make her so kind-hearted?" The Lord responded, "So you could love her, my son." "Why did you make her so good-looking?" "So you could love her, my son." "Why did you make her such a good cook?" "So you could love her, my son." The man thought about this. Then he said, "I don't mean to seem ungrateful or anything, but ... why did you make her so stupid?" "So she could love you, my son."
god, that's way too young. where's the freedom or the fun? methinx you should at least finish college and be settled in a good, steady job before you get hitched. my parents were 22 when they got hitched, and 28/29 when they had me, and that was a mistake; they were nowhere near ready and have had a hard time since. [bold]if[/bold] i were ever to marry, i'd be at least 28-30 before it happened and 30 before i had a kid. we're living longer, anyway. why not make the 20s last? lol.
exactly what i was thinking, just couldn't br arsed to type it. i mean the wait till u have a good job and u live longer stuff, not the stuff about ur parents. !!thecraigc!!
thecraigc Are you the gate keeper on this thread? the name of the thread is:my friend got married... thats why the joke!!!!!!
heh, lol, idc if u offend the yankees, i dont own them. anyways, well its me, a girl getting married at 21, i dont neccessarily have to be able to support myself as long as my husband can. and of course my parents would marry me to someone who is self-dependent and able.
now kinza, take no offense at this; hell, it's probably an insult to me, but i'm am [bold]damn happy[/bold] i've been in america for at least 7 generations...
