I'm having a problem with my dvd burner, it won't burn dvds at 4x which it should and used to. It's an Optorite DD0203. I'm not sure when it happened but the maximum speed nero or any of my other burning software says I can burn at changed to 2x. I updated the firmware to version 2.30 sent to me by their tech support but it didn't fix the problem. I flashed to version 2.50 and still no difference. I wondered if it was the media but I've tried three kinds of media, one 4x and the other two 8x. I tried it on another computer and it still will only burn at 2x. What could be the problem? If anyone has any advice I'd be glad to hear it. Thanks in advance
