Hehe So last night I was messing around while trying to remove McAfee...and I was unregistering DLLs and stuff...but eh, when I was finished, and connected my internet, I couldn't do anything. It won't let me browse or anything, and it's saying my internet isn't connected or there's no internet. Everything is fine on the hardware side I'm using a modem...curses to the dial-up Help?
why don't you try doing a system restore to the day before you started haveing your problem, it should get your internet back and everything that you removed
Well...I was doing stuff more -filewise And system restore don't restore that... My internet just doesn't work. I'm connected...my line is in use, but my computer acts like nothing's going on. There's also no sent or received bytes. I'll go ahead and try and restore a backup of those files, but I really don't think it's going to do much. EDIT: Yeah...the whole restoring my cheap ass nero backitup files didn't work. I even tried reinstalling McAfee and that didn't work. Does it look like I'm going to have to reformat?
