i bought a new microSD card for my supercard.. it was Kingmax 1gig
    1) is kingmax a good sd card company? or is it a wannabe bad one
    2) The kingmax card came with a SD adaptar i put hte card in the adaptar and i put it into my new pc (which has a built in sd card reader)... to my suprise nothing happened.. wasnt detected.. and it didnt matter how many times i put it out and i put it in.. it just wasnt detected...so i tried it on my 4 year old laptop which also has a SD card reader.. it was detected this time.. however it said it was a new card and needed to be formatted.. so i pressed ok and a second later it said this card cannot be formatted.. wth.. now can anyone help me solve my problem?

you may need new drivers for your card reader.. my laptop could only support up to 512MB and i downloaded the latest drivers.. so now i can use up to a 2Gig and it will read it :)

regarding Kingmax.. never heard of it.. sounds like they want to be like kingston

KingMax is a new brand, the product is ok, may be you can get another sd card reader to try, most of times is the card reader problem
