Hi, i use nero 8 to convert/burn movies to disc, but when i play them back on any dvd player there is a very slight stutter which to be honest is only noticeable when then camera pans but neverthe less is so annoying when i know its there. The audio is fine and so is pixellation just the slight stutter which happens throughout at thre same half second intervals. Many thanks for reading. Ian.

How does the converted file play on your pc? Try it with good media: Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, any Made in Japan and burn with ImgBurn (free). Also keep your burn's to 1/2 the rated speed of the media. Don't know about the other's but TY like a burn speed of 8x or even 12X, you can do a burn quality check in Nero, think it's CD-DVD Speed. Is this every video, you could try DVD Flick too (free), burn's with ImgBurn?
