My new portable DVD player does not play burnt DVDs can i fix this?

    I recently brought a new portable DVD player.. i just thought it would naturally play burnt DVDs but i was wrong it plays normal DVDs fine but when it comes to playing burnt DVDs it just says not valid disc. ANY help would be much appreiciated.. Thanks! :)

    You probably fed it a +R disc. +R needs to be booktyped to -ROM for some devices....

    maybe you should starting burning in -r medoa, it might do the job :)

    all my DVDs are burnt onto DVD-R.. do you think if i did it on DVD+R it would work?
    Any one know anything else?

    Check your manual(heaven forbid!) and see if it accepts burnable media.

    what will it say? and if it doesnt is there anyway i can fix it so it does?

    It should list something such as DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-RW DVD-ROM, etc., etc.
