Here is the info on the printed sticker inside my phone that is under the battery:

    Nokia model 2260
    ESN: 11 digits all numeric
Code: 13 characters, both letters and numbers
    FCD ID: GMLRH-41

This phone does not use or accept a sim card. It is a USA model.

Typing *#06# does not cause the phone to display any number.

This phone is locked to Cingular. Can I unlock it? If so, how?

Thanks very much for any info

The ESN phones are not GSM technology. They are mostly CDMA technology. These phones cannot be unlocked.
