my old hdd problem

    i got a new 160 gig hdd for my ps3 and got an enclosure for my old 40 gig one. The problem is that my pc is not recognizing my external hdd. I assume i need to format it but i do not know how to do that.

    If you have XP/Vista: Start>settings>COntrol Pannel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Storage>Disk Management

    In here you can setup partitions & format them.
