ok I have a custom built pc
    NZXT case
    roswill rp550 power supply
    ASUS A8V-XE motherboard
    AMD Athlon 64, 2000 MHz (10 x 200) 3200+ Processor
    1024mb ram
    western digital 250gb sata HD
    hp lightscribe drive
    liteon dvdrw drive
    windows vista ultimate 32 bit

well the problem Im am having is I turn my pc off at night (shuts down fine) and when I try to turn it on in the morning it shuts right off will not load anything just turns off. I keep hitting the power button it finally comes on about 10-15 times hitting the power button. IT then stays on and I can shut it down and turn it on it works fine. Then I turn it off for the night and try it again the next morning it does the same thing. EVERY MORNING Its like a car that is hard to start when you get it running its fine.
If anyone has had some problems like this or knows someone with problems like this I would appreciate some help

Not sure what could cause this problem, but why not just put it on standby instead of shutting it down?

The only thing I can think of that could cause somthing like that would be an insufficient power supply or perhaps a dusty motherboard. Other than that I have no idea.

try another psu & try another power switch to motherboard. possible cold solder joint either in psu or on motherboard. edit your sig to conform to forum specs ASAP. you have 10 lines of text.
    1. Text-only signatures should have at most 5 lines of text.

    Hi Stanfill,
I had the exact same problem last year and it turned out to be the power supply dying on me,So maybe worth checking out your power supply.
    Hope this helps.
