My PIONEER DVR-K12D Will Not Read Any Burned DVD+R DL...

    I have recently purchased a Plextor PX-716A (external) that burns/reads DVD+R DL, but my internal Pioneer DVR-K12D that came with my Sony VAIO will NOT read any DVD+R DL backups...this is highly annoying because I cannot watch any DVD+R DL copies that I have backed up whenever I bring my laptop out of the house....

    ...I would appreciate any help I can get. I ran a search and only found one other thread that related but it did not help me very much....thanks

    I have similar problems on a Sony Vaio, and it is getting worse.

    I also cannot get my pioneer DVR-K12D on SONY PCG-GRT280ZG to read DVD's. It did when I got it a year ago but iot got harder and harder for iyt to read dvd's and now will not read them at all. It does read CD's and Data discs. I also would appreciatte suggestions and help
