my xbox will not read any disks it is frozen on the microsoft xbox screen my nefew i think managed to unistall the dashboard cant play or do anything someone please help?
Well...you said you cant play games...but I want to make sure you tried everything. Try putting the game in the drive (the game you used to softmod to be precise) and then turn the Xbox off. Turn it back on (this is called cold booting) and see if the game loads. If it does, reinstall your softmod I hope that works for you...if not...I dont know what to tell you.
As a precaution I would look into getting a different dashboard. You might have had a clock loop. What dash are you using?
