So after my little problem with the Stupid Fatal Error Thread that I had, I took it home, and now when I try to turn it on, the DIP swith LED turns red, then the system turns off, then back on, then off again. It does this 4 times, then shuts off completely. I checked my wiring, and everything seems to be alright. The Xapt3r 1.6 solderless, has one end that sticks up a tiny bit. Could this be a possible problem? Also on the Xecuter 3 CE, what is that wheel on the corner of the chip? Here is a pic (the thing is circled in red):

    Thanks for the Help.

That wheel is the contrast adjustment for the optional LCD screen that you can buy with the X3. No need to worry about it if you don't have the LCD screen. Make sure all wires from the Xapt3r are resting firmly on the pads they are supposed to. My guess is that one of the little wires is not where it's supposed to be.

Ya, one of my wires that is on Xapt3r broke off. So I hot glued it back on, but the chip wasn't resting firmly on the Xapt3r. So I used a razor blade, and got the chip resting nicely. It is working now. Thanks for telling me what that wheel is. I feel so much better knowing what it was.
