Hi, I hope Im posting in the right place. If not I appologize. Computer has been slow for over a year, 30 second lag before iexplorer opens up, web surfing is slow. Get popups and redirects. Got that phony anti-virus software several times. Could successfully remove it in the past but not now. System Restore won't work. Also, explorer.exe often uses 99% CPU, which cripples computer for a few minutes (or indefinitely) anytime I access a hdd or open a media file or something. I tried to do the Kaspersky online scan but it is not working at the moment, so I did the other stuff and then ran HiJack This. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
