Hello peoples, I figured it was about time to start a thread for no reason at all other than the fact that i felt like typing a bunch of crap and watching all the silly replies. hhhhmmmm where to start, well Mrs. Darth just had a full plumbing removal so no yum yums for me for about 6 weeks, yes i know, it's terrible. The IRC channel has had some crazy stuff lately, but we were due for it anyway so i guess it's all good. We got alot of great users in there and i would kill for any one of them. I think the screws in my titanium plates in my neck are backing out a bit because i've had terrible pain lately if i turn my head the wrong way, thank god for vicodin.
I'd like to take this moment to personally thank the admins involved with bring back a certain member that was wrongfully banned. I'm sure you guys dont here it as often as you should so thank you very much, we all know none of us would be here without you and we do apprieciate the work you do for aD, hell without you guys where we all go for advice or to vent?!
I'd like to remind everyone to use that PM function if they see anything that needs a mods attention. We really do rely on the everyone to help us keep this place clean. We cant be everywhere all the time, and most of us have full time jobs and we do this as a hobby so getting a PM from a member with a link to a thread that needs addressed is always a welcome sight.
I'd like to throw a big hello to all the senior members out there, you guys rock. And a big hello to all the members and junior members out there, you guys are great too (when you behave). And for all the newbies, chin up little buckaroos, being a newbie doesn't mean you're stupid, we know that. Just keep up them quality posts and you'll move up in ranks before you know it. ok now before I go, a few more things on a more personal level...
Dela - you rock, i mean that and you know it. When my other son gets your age i hope he's at least 1/2 the man that you are.
    Herbs - It's all good bruv :)
Cozza - hhhmm, coz, what can I say. You gotta be the coolest dude i know down under. I hope to get down there for a visit sometime.
mrage - see dude, I told you we got ya covered. Aint it funny how the hair dont matter now? been there myself man, i dont think i could ever have it long again. Simple is good.
Xian - dont ever change man, I dont feel as old with you around.
Praetor - dammit dude, how often am I wrong about these things? DON'T DO IT!!!!!
Cyprein - Some may say slow down that brain of yours, I say it's better to burn out than to fade away.

All the people I forgot who are reading this saying "I wonder why he didn't mention me" - It's the meds, really! Anyone who knows me understands that I respect everyone until they give me reason not too. If we speak, then you must be ok in my book :)

OK, I'm done now, Kinda looks like a last will and testament doesn't it? Well you just never know. let the replies of madness begin. w00T!

    Of course we do :)

Yeah!, you mustnt know many people from Down Under then :p . Yea you should come to Oz for a bit, but dont expect to have a good net connection lol, thats the only problem here, the net sucks big time.

Ahh, what would we do without good ol Darth? i dont know, and i dont want to find out :)

I agree, #ad_buddies has some cool users, that would be alot better if more people came, and stayed a little.

Also it wouldnt be aD without everyone, from Admins, to Mods, to Addicts to Snr Members, to Members, to Jnr Members and most of all to Newbies.

Everyone does a good job here, and its all good.

Nice to see a thread that has no meaning and you can rant on about nothing, and everyone knows in ad_buddies that i do that well. hehe

Well Hope to see ya in #ad_buddies some time.

    Regards
    CoZZa

I really have to increase your prescription. What are you on again, secobarbital (Seconal), pentobarbital (Nembutal), Diazepam (Valium), chlordiazepoxide (Librium), or chlorazepate (Tranxene). Ah what ever, I just mix them all for you, that would make you feel like colours. :p

Lamictal 200mg, Effexor 75mg and Seroquel 200mg daily.

At various points I've been on Nortriptyline, Eskalith, Prozac, Trazodone, Zyban, Celexa, Desipramine, Imipramine, Paxil, Vivactil and Trazodone to name a few. Variety is the spice of life!

Were you seriously on lithium Darth?

Thats really messed up. I would put you down on some smooth uppers. But thouse anti-depresnts are not very good. I still dont trust any doctor and usually prescripe my self. We do not really have a good understanding of the human brain and side effects are still quite, well not really understood or known for all individuals. Effexor I have heard various things about. But Prozac is really bad stuff.

yeah lithium sucked, i was on the highest legal dose without being institutionalized, or so my doc told me. All i know is i would usually see double or triple, and i felt like a zombie all the time, no fun at all. since i quit listening to the docs, and got off all the junk they were giving me, i never felt better.

I've tried that several times and it got kind of ugly :)

Truer words never spoken. Unlike people's bodies which are fundemantally the same, everyone's brain chemistry is unique and the medications are rather crude in how they operate compared to most other medicines.

yeah it was about a year and a 1/2 roller coaster, that stuff really messes you up after a while. I finally figured out that I just needed to mellow out and try to relax, which no pill was going to do for me without also knocking me out or getting me wasted. I had alot of stress at the time and i learned to just say fusk it

Good for you! I've been on anti-depressants before including Prozac :( and when I was heavily medicated I felt too mentally impaired to function at the level I expect from myself. Compared to what you were on my medication was incredibly light. The 2 people I've known who took Haldol were both bi-polar, and one of them described it to me as being like Thorazine, only exponentially more powerful.

Haldol was the single most nightmarish experience of my life. It was a 24 hour nightmare that I couldn't wake up from. I've never felt more disconnected from reality in my life.
