I'm talking about the RCA, HDMI, Component, Composite, etc plugs. It's a 32" Vizio and there's a only 1 set of each type on the back of it. I was wondering if there was some kind of adapter box with more plugs on it, and what is it called?
There are plenty options available, depends what extra connections you're looking for... For example, if you need more HDMI, you can use a HDMI switch: http://www.amazon.com/HM-501-5-PORT-HDMI-control-cable/dp/B000FHQMFK If you want component, http://www.hdtvsupply.com/4x1covisw.html Or, you can look for a combination of HDMI/Component/Composite... Here's a read with some of the options(there are plenty cheaper options than what they show!!!), just read for an explanation of the different swtichers: http://www.digitalconnection.com/FAQ/switcher.asp
I highly recommend getting an A/V receiver and tossing some decent speakers on it, instead of getting an HDMI switch. The Onkyo line is incredible for sound, and for up-scaling older content. Most models have 5 HDMI inputs, and 1 HDMI output. You would hook up all of your components to the receiver and then push it all through the output to the TV. The Onkyo TX-SR507 is only $319 from Newegg.com at the moment. You could get a cheap set of 5.1 speakers for ~ $120, and you'd be sporting top notch sound on top of being able to do all of your components at HDMI.
