    Hi,

Please can somebody give me any ideas how to provent my problem. the problem is my wirelss internet, i have a buffalo router in my living room and my laptop in my bedroom. I would just be on the internet working away as usual when my internet would suddenly disconnect itself. but the thing is after its disconnected it connects straight back up again. which some people may think just be patient with it, which i have tried doing and is vertually impossible for me to do lol. the most annoying thing is when im on msn messenger and it disconnects which means i have to sign all back in again. i have put up with it for about 6 months now am im really getting fed up with it. if you want anymore infomation please ask. Thankyou to anybody that knows anything i can do to stop it doing this.

    Thanks a lot.

does ur lappy have a built in wireless or are u using a card
because im using a linksys router and a netgear card for my lappy and even sitting in the same room with the router it will drop the signal every now and again so maybee its the mismatched card router combo

Too much malware and spyware running through the router, run every anti spyware and virus removal thing you have. The router is getting too many connections running through it causing it to disconnect itself to close connections. Also see how hot the router is, it might be over heating this also causes router to d/c if it is getting too hot (I dont know what buffalo routers look like) take the top of it and put it in a cooler place if you can.

I dont really know what you mean by "Could it be something lose inside my laptop" if your i very much doubt that you laptop is damaged. What anti-spyware, anti-virus software are you running?

microsoft anti-spyware and norton virus protection. Also i formatted my laptop a couple of weeks ago to see if that would cure it but it still happens
