Ok when i press the button on my xbox it boots the turns off 3 times the flashes red and yellow.
I have looked all over google and here to find the answer to my problem but all they talk about is when its modded with a mod chip. While my xbox has never been opened untile the boot problem started.
    Please help me.

i did and it does the same thing with out them connected. havent tried a new hard drive but id rather get a new box instead.

I dont think thats the problem though.
It seems like a mother board error. Thats whats wrong with modded ones.
If anyone know anymore solutions please tell me.
    Thanks

Frag can made ALOT of problems. Has it ever had a mod attempt?

Had it been opened BEFORE you opened it? Like, were the stickers gone/punctured?

Bad HD, or DVD drive won't frag, it will error code.

Answer those and get back at me

    Ok,

My guess is its something loose in there, metal...or something overloaded, check all the capacitors, make sure a wire didn't pop out of the psu plug. Check all the wires, naturally. Check around the area where the av plugs in and the NIC. If it didn't get a power surge, something external had to cause it, like something falling in.

Is it flashing Red/Yellow...or Red/Green. Frag is red/green. You typed red/yellow. Just checking. If there is any yellow flashing it is probably something by the av plug, something grounding out.
