    Hello thar people.

I recently obtained a dvd image file and although I can mount and play it using Daemon tools I can't burn it to disc because it can not be recognised, that is, I use latest version of Nero and it gives me an 'error' message when I try to burn the file. Could the image be corrupt even though I can play it with Daemon tools?I also used that web file finding facility that you can use when windows doesn't recognise a file--it pointed me to Irfan View, how would Irfan View help? does it let me burn dvd images?.

    Thanks for any help

Hi there, it's a .img. I'm starting to think it's just a damaged file though. I thought it played okay with Daemon tools but after further playing it I keep getting an error message and it closes down.

Try burning it with this neat little app, which is free, called IMGBurn.

    Get it off Google :)
