Hi guys - Ive been using Nero for years. But now when I use Nero Vision Express, and select DVD , I only see the option DVD-R . Im convinced I used to also see the option for DVD +RW or similar. I often copy to +RW's to see what my dodgy (as in rubbish !)home videos look like before actually burning them.
The only change I have made is to have a new DVD drive, but cant understand how this wouldve affected Nero ?

Ive looked thru the threads on here and cant see anything about this.
I did note some users recommend Imgburn - is it really better ?

Could somebody kindly cpnfirm that I should see seperate options for dvd -r and dvd +rw (or similar) ?

I tried Imgburn - but it seem to make me delete a blank dvd first , took ages to burn, then my dvd player wont play it anyway !

    Thanks.

No, you should not see an option that you can select(-/+R(W)). As far as I know, you can only select between DVD-5 or DVD-9 (DL). Whether or not you will be able to burn onto a DVD+RW, depends on your burner, if it is capable or not.

Hi Cyprus - thanks for taking the time to reply. I am convinced I used to see an option between burning a r/w disk or just r. Guess Im going to have to just try an rw disk and see what it does.
Will let you know later !

If you have Nero, then go to Nero InfoTool, select your drive/burner and click on Drive, it will show your drive's reading/burning capabilities.
