Hi, my dad bought a coolsat5000 a while back from a guy who promised that the box would automatically program the new codes so we would never have to look online to check for new numbers. This was a lie of course. But I did remember seeing the guy bringing in his laptop and connecting it to the box with some sort of firewire that would program the new numbers in the box. I would like to know how to do this. Is there like some complete newbie guide that I can have a link to? Thanks. EDIT-- I would also like a tutorial to show me how to set everything up and how to get dish network keys on my own without having to visit websites.

You can also find the instructions to load bins. These aren't just plug in and watch, they need there bins updated when new ones are released. Let me know if you need more help.
