    Hey guys !

I was wondering if someone could please tell me what the best way is to backup/archive my music CD collection.

I understand that most of you do this by simply making lossless images of CD's, but considering the fact that what I want is solely for backup purposes... what about the option of making a CD image with CloneCD or Alcohol 120% of the CD ?
Wouldn't that safe HDD space compared to FLAC, APE or ALAC files ? And correct me if I'm wrong, but this option is in fact "lossless" too right ?

If I ever want to burn a CD from one of those images I can easily do it in CloneCD or Alcohol 120%.
And if I ever want to rip the tracks on the image I can do that my mounting the image and then start my favourite rip software.

    Any tips are welcome.
