Does anyone have any ideas how I can manage to get the Nabilo 0.12 image onto my DM800 clone. At the moment I am running a patched 0.11 Nabilo image which works fine. Is there any way I can update the bootloader on my clone from bl69to maybe bl72 so I can load the 0.12 image or is there other way I can get this darn image onto my machine. Thanks

the bootloader version on your box can not be updated, bootloader firmware is on a sim card on the main board so you would have to get a new sim card & replace the old one, the only advantage I see with nabilo 0.12 is it enables a faster responce between the remote & the dreambox.

Thanks Lenny, the remote control issue is already sorted in Nabilo 0.11 so I'm well happy with that. The SIM issue I have being reading about, as in Version 1, Version 2 and version 2.01. The primary reason I want 0.12 is the Satmate EPG solution which I have heard is pretty good. It does seem that different SIMs will support different bootloaders, Sim 1 goes upto BL70, Sim2 will support all bootloaders up to 75, and with 2.01 it is underfined how many bootloaders it will in the end support. However it should be possible to reverse engineer all SIM 2 bootloaders to work on Sim 1 dreamboxes. I would guess our good chinese friends are working hard on such solutions so they can continue to support and sell clone dm800s

I tried the satmate epg option & it caused my 800 to crash so I changed back to the s*k epg instead. I'm running BL72 r1 with nab12.
