i heard a rumour there not changing to nagra 3 as it'll cost them millions to change every1 over. is this true people or has any1 got really good info on this??
Seriously, are you having a laugh? they have changed over since last year and early this year with some parts of the corus MMDS system to go, the majority of the areas are gone already in Ireland and now the UK is follwing quick behind, You know already as you previously asked about chipped cards
well m8 ya left yourself open for that where have ya been for the last 14 months since Upc have changed their encryption in Ireland. Ya need to keep up to date with this stuff.
E45 dont mind em, he knows quiet well as he asked about cloned boxs and chipped cards not so long ago, so he is well aware, Oh and DJ, I laughed at a comment, but didnt make it,
There are still many Chorus MMDS areas that have not been upgraded to N3. No one knows for sure what UPCs plans are despite the consensus that all areas will be upgraded. It is interesting to note that Comreg are considering reallocating MMDS frequencies for 4G and LTE. Apparently the Chorus MMDS licenses start expiring in 2014, perhaps UPC they may decide not to upgrade certain areas without knowing for sure that they will get sufficient ROI should they at some point lose the MMDS licenses. http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=65406574
The hold up was down to new boxes and software for them the new firmware for the ITD70 boxes the software is now in the stream and as soon as thats all implimented it will change over and even if the MMDS is up in 2014 who do you think is in a position to take this over nobody actually so without upc extending its licence it will be sky for all the people in te rural areas
