Hey everyone not quite sure if this is were this fits so sorry in advance if it is. I have Napster and I download from theme legally and all that but when I go to burn a cd it wont let me. Does Napster have some type of protection on it or somthing
It's called Digial Rights Management (DRM). When you download from Napster, iTunes (heaven forbid), Walmart, or any other places you can legally download from, burn them to a CD-RW, right from the site. You can then rip from the CD-RW, to your hard drive, in wav format, and erase the CD-RW. After you have downloaded enough music, that you want to use to make a CD, you have the wav files on your hard drive that will work.
I should of explained more I won a year subscription to napster and I am trying to burn songs that I have downloaded from napster
I know what you are doing. I told you the way you have to do it to be able to use that downloaded music to burn to a CD.
o ok I understand know so even though I have already put the songs on my harddrive the only way to burn them to a disc is to purchase them.
Yes, unless with that free subscription, Napster allows you to burn them directly to a CD, from their site.
yea it does make the free year subscription somewhat bogus but atleast I got the mp3 player with it to load them onto that so that kinda makes up for it
