I have an option - I can buy NBA 06 : The Life, or Madden 06. Madden 06 look's great, better than The Life. But the Life is suppost to have an AWESOME story mode. But, so is Madden. PLEASE TELL ME HOW THE STORY MODE IS IN MADDEN 06. DO YOU JUST GET DRAFTED AND THEN TRAIN TO BE A SUPERSTAR? HOW DOES IT START? THANKS.
The story mode on madden is lame. You start out as a college prospect and go to minicamps and train. You do a lot of practice drills and everything. You get a mentor who leaves you messages on what you need to do and all that jazz. You have an apartment where you control everything from, you can get your haircut, go to the gym, get tats and all that stuff. Its really a waste of time and I stopped after a very short time... besides who buys a sports game for the story mode...seriously.
