Can sum 1 take the time to git me started with modding my NDSL(Nintendo D S Light). I just wana make sure i do it right cuz i all ready tried modding THREE Xboxes with sort mods and screwed all of them up. PLZZZZZZZZZZZ help me.
Xbox is very easy to mod... don't know how you managed to do that considering I've done over six (both soft and hard modded) without any major setbacks. For DS Lite, you'll just need a few things. PassMe (at least once) Flash cart or SD/CF adapter DS Lite Here's some examples. M3 Perfect miniSD with Passcard3 Supercard with Super Key EZIV with EZPass3 G6 with Passcard3
Can u give me sum links so i can read up on this stuff b4 i start asking all these question, cuz i dont understand that lingo.I allready no wut a flash card is but dont no whut is does except sumthing like helps with giting gba games on the NDS. It cost 20 dollers I know. Can i git it in a store n stead of from action replay site. TYVM For ur help.
If you're looking at a $20 flash cart, you're looking at the wrong thing. It's going to cost at least $90 to get a DS Lite set-up for playing back-ups, which is why I bothered giving you examples of product combinations that work with the DS Lite... Also, you're not going to be able to buy this stuff from Codejunkies or any retail stores (Best Buy, GameStop, etc), you'll need to get it from sites like these. www.divineo.com www.winsunx.com www.realhotdeals.com As for guides... http://iso420.com/nds.htm http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/364264 http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/359076 http://dualscene.net/news.php http://www.m3adapter.com/faq.htm
Depends on what you're going to use it for (games, homebrew, multimedia) and how much you're willing to spend. If all you're going to do is play DS and GBA games, just get a EZIV Lite, EZ-PASS3, and a good microSD card. The EZIV Lite comes with an SD card reader. Moonshell can be used to play movies and MP3s. If you want to use homebrew (emulators, multimedia, etc) as well as play DS and GBA games, get an M3 Perfect miniSD, Passcard3, and a good miniSD. You'll also need to get a good card reader if you don't already have one. The reason I'm giving you two choices is because the M3 is the expensive route, whereas the EZIV Lite is the budget route. The EZIV Lite plays DS and GBA games well, but doesn't have much homebrew support whereas the M3 does.
How much does the M3 cost and how much will a good card reader cost on the side of that. I think i saw wut i think to b one here check it out.TYVM 4 ur help. http://us.codejunkies.com/shop/product.asp?c=US&cr=USD&cs=$&r=0&l=1&ProdID=321
Stop trying to buy this stuff on Codejunkies... That's an MML by the way, which is almost the same thing as a Passcard3, minus sleep mode. It also doesn't work with some flash cards. www.divineo.com www.winsunx.com www.realhotdeals.com www.kicktrading.com Hell, Kicktrading even sells a card reader... http://www.kicktrading.ca/index.php?cPath=27&osCsid=c5435a6df20f655c4fbbe63bfa8887f3 Get the card reader and SD card off of Newegg. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820301006 From the looks of it, it'll cost around $130 to get the M3 off Kicktrading. It'll be cheaper if you just get it off Divineo and deal with a PassKey2...
OK I think i got the concept.I need a kart reader, and because i want to play GBA/DS Game and homebrew, I need M3 Perfect miniSD, Passcard3, and a miniSD. OK now how do i dertermin wuts the diffrents in miniSD quality. I want one thats good but not to expensive or does this come in the lil package. Also in this package it comes wit the requirements to hook it to my PC Right? Really thank u for ur tim effort and patients.
Just get a Kingston or RiDATA miniSD on Newegg. Can't go wrong with those two. They'll run you about $23 for a card and $5 for shipping.
