NEC 3500A hums real loud when playing a movie?

    I just got a NEC 3500a and it works fine but when it plays a movie it humms real loud like its really spinning fast. I have the NEC 2500 and doesnt make any noise when its playing a movie. Is this normal or should I return it? NEC tech support was no help.

    Thanks, thats what I needed to know. So that means its defective and I'm gonna return it.
