When using nero I have no problems burning dvd's unless I try using Memorex 16X dvd's. Any suggestions?
Stay away from Memorex 16x's, LOL Could be several things: 1)The firmware version on your dvd-rw drive may be out of date? 2) Could be an issue with the format of those memorex discs. 3) Media quality: May be low quality stuff or even a bad batch of media. What's the exact issue? Is there any burn on those discs? Does it fail during the lead-in phase-disc is not burned Does it fail during the burn?you'll see the discoloration of the bottom of the disc. Does it fail at the end of the disc? Use nero infotool to locate some information-or post a nero burn log: Current firmware version Brand name and model # of your burner MID code of your memorex media. Also give us the MID codes of the succussful backups.
