I own a NEC ND-1000A drive and it's no longer reading [bold]any[/bold] DVD's or CD-R/RW. To make matters worse, I can't restore my system either. Firmware appears to be up-to-date and I don't have a clue where to download drivers for it. Anyone have any ideas?
Got the same drive, never experienced this mate. If system won't restore, perhaps a full re-format's in order, start with a clean slate. Dene
I suppose I have no other alternative... How do I go about wiping my HD and repartitioning it? I don't have a startup floppy and XP will not allow me reformat from the disk. Any suggestions?
