O.K. I bought this dvd burner on ebay, NEC ND-1100A 4x DVD BURNER. The seller didn't include directions to how to install the burner into my computer. Please help, anyone. Does anyone have directions?

On your system board you need to find the cd drive connector, its a 40 pin connection, plug one end of the drive cable into this. now remove the front insert panel for the second drive and gently slide the dvd drive into the second bay. put the power and drive cables into the back of your dvd drive. thats basically all you have to do. hope you understand this : )

woah there newb... dvd burner will also burn cds... install is easy if theres only one drive on a channel... if not set one to master the other to slave using the jumpers between the power and ide connectors.

no, why would you need to have a cd burner to have a dvd burner??
I have a cd-rw drive + 2 dvdrw drives, it makes no difference if I were to remove my cd burner.
do you want to remove your cd-rw drive or something?
