nec ND2500, pionner A07, plextor Px708 or other? for burning Ps2 games and movies

    I m about to buy a Dvd-r tomorrow, for back up my PS2 games and movies, i have read tons of reviews but unfortunatly my answer doest resolved..

    So what is the best drive for this use?

    i picked up a pioneer a07 last week and it has been working great so far. www.newegg.com had it for 140$ free shipping.

    The Plextor 708 is very nice, but you can't beat the Pioneer 107 for the money.

    Or for many firmware hacks....Pioneer is a solid machine with great 8x writing. For the price, go for it

    I also would say the Pioneer a07 /107 great drive for the price and you cant beat the hacks available for it.
