lo all just wondering which drive you would recommend as iam going to buy one of these 2 today. the NEC i can get for £59.98 and the OptoRite for £54 so a little difference. the thing i like the sound of the OptoRite is the HD Burn and is also that bit cheaper which means i can get some blanks in as i dont have much cash *only a 16 yr old skool student here* but with the NEC i have heard a lot about its reliablity to read and burn disks, but that doesnt have the HD Burn. how reliable are they both and which one is recommended for my money? regards
Hi installed a NEC2500 the weekend on my Father in laws pc.Works fine, backup 3 disc's with no problems. If you want to save money on disc's try blankdiscshop.co.uk Ritek G04's are at the moment 11.50 for a tub of 25 Ex.
