thanks again, it appears to be easier to use than avi2dvd. Are there any drawbacks to using it (will it not work after a certain number of useages?...will it encode the whole file or just part of it?) right now it's working great though thanks again.

Can you put more than 1 file on a dvd at a time? I could do that with nero, but now I can't get it to work right on my new pc...

    about 358 mb.

I was able to reduce the quality alittle and fit 5 files on a dvd-5 with nero.

Would like to be able to do that again if poss.

you might need to convert each file, then load them separately into tmpgenc dvd author until you have filled the disc. You will be able to add your own menus and it will utilise nero to burn it to disc.

As to why your nero is failing to work is a mystery but do you have a nero log of one of your attempts that you can produce with in your next post so that we can get it deciphered for you.

Nah, Nero isn't working AT ALL.

When I click on burning rom or nero vision or whatever application it just shuts down with an error message and goes back to start smart.

I've tried re-installing it but to no avail (several times).

Anyway, I don't mind making my own menus etc. as I did that in nero but I really dont like TMPGEnc
