ok i have mpeg file i used cce to encode,it did its thing
it made 2 files wav & mpv now my understanding was then to use tmpgenc to code files so they can burn on a dvd and play in home dvd player. but i used tmpge and it made 2 files wav & m2v ...lol

    what am i missing here?
i did use the Search by the way, must people repli"es are dont use that use this" however they don't explain "HOW"

You should have used Tmgpenc DVD Author, not just tmpgenc.
The tmpgenc encoder did the exact same thing that CCE just did.
You can find plenty of authoring programs, from ReJig for a simple autoplay dvd, to DVDLab Pro or Scenarist, with menu's chapters, and stuff.
