I am looking for a decent capture device for recording TV programs. It does not need to have a tuner since I will be recording from my digital converter box. Can anyone suggest a reliable and stable device and software?

Hauppauge seems to be pretty good. I've had mine for about 5 years now.

They don't quite have what I'm looking for. I need a capture card not a tuner card. It needs to have composite video inputs. They only have one model with that feature and it is too expensive. I need something in the $40-$60 range.

I didn't know I had to choose between price and quality. The fact is most capture cards fall in that price range. I just don't know which one I should choose.
