Hi, I would like to know what are some of the motherboards that can work well with Pentium 4 3.0 GHz. I know there is a lot, however, I just want to spend appox about $200 on a good or average Motherboard. Thanks.
I usually buy Asus, always had good luck with their motherboards. I still have my Pentium 1 that I got in 1995 running to play old DOS games and it has an Asus. Check their web site http://www.asus.com and you can get the details of which model has which features and what processor they support.
I quite like the Gigabyte range they have, good support on P4 CPU's found here. http://www.giga-byte.com/
i will have to agree w/ baabaa, while i have quite a few asuses (asusii)??? don't know how to plural an "asus"...i currently have a gigabyte that is running flawlessly w/ an extreme edition intel chip. mine is right in your price range that you quoted and i got mine at newegg, but they no longer carry the EXACT model i have, but have newer ones that i can assume are even better. check my sig. good luck on ur mb decision.
