Looked around the net and there are like million encoders and i tried a dozen so far and most of them failed and few worked but didn't give me a satisfied result

    here is the issue

I need to hard-encode a .ass subtitle without losing the styles and many are .ass compatible but when they encode they just treat them as simple text and ignore the styles

I prefer that it can decode .h264 b-frames, ogg vorbis and encode in x264 multipass, FAAC audio in MP4 container

if you don't know please don't make suggestions about leave it soft encode or convert to srt. the only conversion i like to hear is one that keeps the styles

    thanks

Give Avidemux a try(unless already tried and the results weren't satisfactory.

yep tried that and didn't do well

    here is what I found

    Xvid4psp is the solution
but first i had to demux subtitle and fonts from mkv, installed any missing fonts on my computer then opened the video, added subtitle from the menu, custom video and audio settings and voila started encoding and my mp4 had nice encoded subtitles without any loss of styles

I hope whoever was looking for same type of encoding will find this tool xvid4psp a super useful tool
