Hi, could some one please help me with this problem. Apart from having to replace the floppy drive due to the drastic raise in the mobo temperature when the cable was inserted backwards, which normally just gives a constant green light, and a six month old dvd drive that worked perfectly up until it was installed in this computer. When downloading using a direct ethernet cable connection my CPU temp at 2% to 5% CPU usage is between 22 to 23, when my Belkin wireless adaptor is inserted in any USB port the temperature rises by 6 to 10 degrees with out connecting to my wireless router, when downloading and using no more then 2% to 11% CPU usage connected to my router my temperature is between 36 to 38 degrees. Having the fan at full speed will sometimes brings it down to 34 to 35. I've been told this is not normal and would appreciate any advice or experienced input before i have the mobo returned, is this normal as i've never seen this before using the same wireless adaptor in my other pc, thanks for your time and help.
those temps are good. start worrying when they go into the high 50's & 60's then you might have a problem.
