Hi, I have a bunch of .avis that I want to burn to a DVD. Each .avi is around 350 MBs. I want to convert the .avis to a Video-TS folder then compress it with DVD2oneX2. I read in another post that this conversion can be done with MPEG streamclip. I downloaded it but I can' figure out how. Could someone please help me convert to a Video-TS folder? Thanks
AFAIK, MPEG Streamclip cannot convert an AVI file to MPEG format (it won't even load the avi file unless the 3ivx codec is installed). You could load the files into DVD Flick and output a DVD folder (VIDEO_TS). http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_tools/dvd_flick.cfm
Agreed. You can add several avi files and allow dvd flick to convert them to video_ts files to fit onto a dvd-5 disk.
Sorry if I never mentioned this in my original post. I have a Mac so I need a mac program. Dvd Flick doesn't have a mac version. Thanks
Sorry about that. The only free one I see is ffmpegx. http://www.ffmpegx.com/ Try the MAC forum at Videohelp. http://forum.videohelp.com/mac-f9.html?sid=222ce90e993c79e6c1c961085e6a940b
