hi I have the evox slayer install and in the menu/settings/ip the static is set to =NO my xbox give's me it's IP but can not connect Im using FLASHFXP and CuteFTP my network is a HUB with pc,modem, xbox connected tried to connet while my pc is online and offline none of that works a little advice please need to back up my xbox before installing evox thank you
http://get-modded.com/tutorials/BasicNetworking.pdf Using a hub you'll need the Xbox and PC set to a static IP address since a hub doesn't assign IP's like a Router does. To do this with a boot disc like Slayers you would need to Extract the ISO, edit the evox.ini for a static IP and then remake the ISO. RustyDog
In the tutorial it says to use the EvolutionX settings menu but since you loaded it from disc you can't save changes that's why the evox.ini file has to be edited before making the ISO. RustyDog p.s. check your PM's
Im doing something wrong but dont know what is it my slayer installer DVD loads good but cant install from there the evox .iso(xiso)(made'em with craxtation) I made and burn (450mb and 650mb cd's (2) XBOX doesnt recognize them I burn the slayersupdated.iso 221mb I guess and XBOX does not recognize it it really has to be .iso(xiso)?? or a normal .iso or what im doing wrong? im lost now Im using CD-RW media my xbox can read with no problem any help apreciated
It has to be an Xbox ISO image file. If you started with a .rar or .exe file then it need to be extracted first using WinRAR. Then you should have the .iso file. Just burn the disc at a slow speed. If it won't load at first try leaving the disc in the DVD drive and powering on the XBox a few times to see if it'll load. RustyDog
Im doing that right now (leaving it inside and powering the xbox up) at this time with no luck but im positive :-D a question since my dvd slayer evox installer works good if I get a cheap router it should install from there right? (slayer installer dvd) thanx
I dont know how but hehehe it worked :-D leaving it in and powering up the xbox now to set up my NIC to connect it thanx bro
