I am just starting burning DL+r's Drives used Benq dw 1655 NEC nd 2510a nero 7 with update media memorex dl+r 2.4 i am trying to burn mpg movies with menu on dual layer i have gotten a few to go but since then i have had problems, seem to be in menu. One dvd I get to the menu with chapters and cannot do anything, put in home dvd player (apex ad 1600) in benq and also a sony dvd single layer burner does not work. Also having problems with the ones that do work at the menu screen when using the home dvd player remote when arrowing does have lag time and the music i have running in background starts over everytime i highlight a different chapter. The movies work on these Dvds but its the menus do not work properly. i know this is a brief description of problem but willing to give more info to help problem.
my dad who has not had one fail yet uses the NEC burner but he uses individual mpg's to create chapters whereas i have one large mpg and put the chapters were i want, i know it is a long shot but could this be the problem because this method now does not work on his drive when tried?
